Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Richland Center High School, home of the Hornets!

We are excited to serve as the 7-12 Co-Principals for this great community and school district.

Richland Center High School (RCHS) is a 7th through 12th-grade school that is filled with students and staff who strive for excellence.  At RCHS our students are motivated and passionate about learning.  Whether it be life skills or years of teaching experience our staff will provide an excellent learning experience for our students.  Our job is easy because of the team we have an opportunity to lead.

RCHS is a comprehensive high school where the academic success of our students is one of our top priorities.  We offer courses in Agriculture, Art, Business, English, Family and Consumer Education, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, Special Education, and Technical Education.  Students are able to take these offerings based on a 10-period day.  We are also proud to offer 10 advanced placement classes for our students.

In addition to our diverse class offerings, we are happy to institute Hornet Hour into our 10-period day.  Hornet hour will be a time when students learn different social-emotional skills and a time to receive extra academic support.

RCHS also has an extensive list of athletics and co-curricular activities for our students to get involved with beyond the classroom.  Our current athletic offerings are Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Track, Volleyball, and Wrestling. Students can join clubs such as yearbook, computer club, key club, pep club, art club, and so many more. Students can also serve in leadership roles in organizations such as FFA and Student Council. We encourage every student to be a member of a team or co-curricular organization.

We are proud to lead our staff and students here at RCHS and we encourage you to support our students in all of their academic, artistic, and athletic ventures.

Go Hornets!
